Make your way to The Tasting Table, located at Bródy Sándor utca 9, Budapest 1088. Admire the 19th-century wine cellar's vaulted ceilings, under which you'll meet the resident sommelier. This wine expert will be your guide for the entire tasting experience, and is open to any questions you may have about the wine or wine-making regions. 

Hear about the artisanal cheese and charcuterie revival in Hungary after the end of the Communist era. Taste some of the country’s best examples, including beef sausage, smoked duck breast, free-range water buffalo salami, and mangalica pork sausages. Sip five glasses of wine made from indigenous Hungarian grape varietals, including some local wines that are hard to find elsewhere.

The host was excellent and engaging, really learnt a lot about Hungarian wine. Was a relaxing experience and you can taste at your own pace. All 5 wines were Hungarian and excellent and the cheese and charcuterie complimented the wines really well. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. It's definitely worth the price!

This wine tasting was excellent, we really enjoyed it. We got to taste numerous great Hungarian wines, the knowledge of wine and wine history was excellent with the lady hosting the tasting. Great location and surroundings. I highly recommend this.

I'm not a heavy drinker but you do get 4 generously sized glasses of wine and I was very buzzed after the whole experience. I very much enjoyed the little lecture we had on the different parts of Hungary where each wine is produced. The cheese and meats were delicious too. I do recommend this event to anyone visiting this country.
