The Basics

Girona Cathedral stands as the most prominent landmark in Girona and one of its most popular attractions. Many visitors explore the cathedral and surrounding town on a day trip from Barcelona; some trips also include stops at the Dalí Museum in nearby Figueres or the sacred mountaintop monastery of Montserrat. Entrance to the cathedral includes an audio guide in several languages, and access to the nave, treasury, cloister, and Basilica of Sant Feliu.

Luis our tour guide was excellent. He was attentive, informative and flexible. Food was great in Costa Brava. We booked a small group tour and received a private tour which was excellent. A must see tour for sure.

Girona and Dali Museum Small Group Tour with Hotel Pick-up from Barcelona
My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised that we were on a private tour. We had a wonderful time exploring the Dali Museum and Girona. Luis was great! He was very informative and he even volunteered to take our photos at the best photo sites. Overall, a wonderful trip for me and my daughter. Would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Half-Day Game Of Thrones Walking Tour in Girona with a Guide
This is the perfect tour for all the Game of Thrones and history fans visiting Girona. Our guide, Ona, knew everything there is to know about Girona, it’s history, and how Game of Thrones was filmed in the area. We loved the whole thing!

Half-Day Game Of Thrones Walking Tour in Girona with a Guide
A beautiful introduction to Girona, Ona provided rich information about the place, key filming spots and even snippets of stories into how living in Girona is like. We took the afternoon tour which rewarded with the golden hour to admire Girona’s beauty. While we went for the tour because my friends are GoT fans, I enjoyed it despite not watching the series.

Girona, Figueres and Dali Museum Day Trip from Barcelona
The trip was well organised and on time, with an interesting walking tour of Girona. We wished there was more time to explore Girona and Figueres, as too much time was spent at the Dali Museum tour. The Dali museum was spectacular.

Half-Day Game Of Thrones Walking Tour in Girona with a Guide
Our guide, Ona, was great. Great historical information about Girona, as well as key filming points from Game of Thrones. Beautiful city, 2000 years of history, and delicious food to boot! We do alot of exploring on our own, but it was really nice to have a tour somewhere like this. Otherwise, its just another old wall and castle. Highly recommend

Girona and Costa Brava Private Tour with Pick Up from Barcelona
Our guide, Adrian was friendly, engaging and professional. The day we spent with him was delightful. Girona is a very interesting and historic town of many periods, and Adrian explained history and myth. The Costa Brava portion of the trip is beautiful and we had a delicious fresh fish meal at a spot Adrian reserved for us.

From Barcelona: Private Girona and Figueres with Dali Museum Tour
My sister and I booked a private tour and it was a fabulous excursion to the Dali Museum (where Miguel knew all nooks and crannies) and medieval Girona (where parts of Game of Thrones was filmed). He also took us to a tapas restaurant on a beautiful plaza where the food was even better than Barcelona. Miguel was flexible and courteous and a joy to be around.
